Hard Facilities Management - Specialist Services Manager

FULL TIME – 40 hours per week

Corrigenda is a leading Hard FM maintenance contractor providing a wide range of facilities management services to commercial and industrial clients across the South. The Specialist Services Manager will oversee and manage the performance, compliance, and relationships with specialist subcontractors to ensure high standards of service delivery. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring contractual obligations are met, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Include
(but not limited to):

Subcontractor Management

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors to ensure collaboration and performance
• Work with SHEQ to successfully onboard specialist subcontractors
• Pro-actively identify and procure approved specialist to work as an extension of our operational teams
• Maintain accurate records of subcontractor performance, costs and compliance
• Ensure all paperwork, compliance certificates and reports are received in a timely fashion
• Support subcontractors with using their online portal
• Issue and review contracts and agreements with subcontractors when required

Quality Assurance

• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure subcontractor work meets required standards and legislation
• Conduct site inspections and audits to verify the quality and safety of subcontractor work
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and subcontractor performance
• Review and produce RAMS of specialist subcontractors
• Assist SHEQ Manager on any health and safety investigations
• Review & maintain subcontractor training certificates / DBS records

Financial Management

• Manage budgets and financial aspects of subcontractor engagements, ensuring cost-effectiveness
• Approve invoices and ensure timely payment to subcontractors
• Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to senior management

Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaise with clients, internal managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and expectations
• Identify correct resource that is required to attend jobs with contract administration
• Communicate effectively with all parties to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction
• Address and resolve any client concerns related to subcontractor performance
• Assist with tenders and mobilisations of new clients and contracts

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related industry
• Proven experience in managing subcontractors and coordinating maintenance activities
