ISO Certificates

On Wednesday 15th February the ISO 90001, 14001 and 45001 certificates were awarded once again to Corrigenda.

ISO stands for International Organization for Standardization, an independent, non-governmental body with a membership of 167 countries. We can be proud of belonging to an official global community that seeks to bring about improvements and changes in industry and to have those efforts and achievements recognised. Having them in the business gives customers and clients an assurance that we are operating to the highest standards.

What are these standards?
– ISO 9001 is a quality management process, based on a number of principles including strong customer focus, effective and clear systems and processes, a commitment from top management and evidence of continual improvement in all areas.

–  ISO 14001 is an environmental management standard and has requirements that relate to the care of the built and natural environments, guidance on managing our carbon footprint, efficient use of energy and how we dispose of waste.

– ISO 45001 is an occupational health and safety management system requiring organizations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health as well as by proactively improving health and safety performance, listening and responding to team members on health and safety matters and driving down accident and incident rates through training, information and safe systems of work.

Ian Lister, our Head of Safety Health and Environment said “It really was a team endeavour, and everyone should be proud of this significant achievement which recognizes the efforts made every day to maintain Corrigenda’s high standards. Well done to all.”
